There are no words to describe the loss and depth of sadness that our family has endured over the past 4 weeks. We give thanks to all of our friends that have overwhelmingly given their support and prayers. You will never know how much we appreciate knowing that you are with us, and appreciate all that you have done.
We are anticipating a difficult holiday season, but we know that God will give us the strength to move on. Blaine and Kylie are living with Nonnie and Papa and have returned to school. They are blessed by a huge support group in Riverside from their school and church.
Nonnie is going back to UCLA on December 28, 2009 to continue her treatment, with one more remaining afterwards. We wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all of you.
ReplyDeleteWe will continue in prayer for God's strength to carry you through.
Speak to your soul like king David, when he was "cast down", he spoke to his "soul". Ps.42:5 "Why are you cast down O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me?
Soul, Hope in God for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence."
Love and prayer, Cousin Shirley
Thanks, Jeff for the update. Warmest thoughts, love and prayers are continuously sent to the entire extended family as you begin your "new" lives. I admire all of you for the amazing commitment to each other that you constantly demonstrate to all of us.
ReplyDeleteLinda, many many blessings to you as you enter the next phase of treatment. I pray you can stay focused on yourself as you continue to heal. I will check Jeff's entries every day to watch your progress.
David, you are an amazing man. That's it. Just had to say it! My love to you all, Leila
