Sincere Appreciation

The services that were held for Nonnie were absolutely beautiful! Our family would like to thank everyone who helped make the the day so special. Not a single detail was overlooked, and it could not have been possible without the help of our special friends and loved ones.

There are so many aspects, including the program, flowers, pictures, music, food, set-up and tear-down that we are very grateful for. Each of the speakers did an amazing job of sharing their memories with all of us in attendance. A special thanks to The Grove Community Church and Pastor Jim Gilbreth for providing the facility and honoring Nonnie's life.

Whoever said the days and weeks following the loss of a loved one would not be easy, was absolutely correct! We have been very blessed to have so many friends and family offer their support through cards, letters, flowers and prayers that will help us to gain strength as time moves forward.

  1. Dear Omar, Jeff, Lisa and children:

You are so right, the service was beautiful and so many came to pay their respects and to say good bye to our dear friend and loved one. Linda will forever be missed.

She brought so much beauty and inspiration to every life she touched.

Her suffering has now ended and she is at peace with God.

We will always love you Linda Lou!

  2. Hello Asam and Nelson family,

Please know that I do come into Linda's blog every now and then to see the latest news on the family. I love Linda's blog and the labor of Love Jeff put into it. Linda's blog is such a testament of the beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that she was to many. Her love lives on.

This blog also holds as a reminder to all of us the importance of praying and caring for Dave and the children (Kylie and Blaine). I have a beautiful book called "The Power of a Praying Parent". I used this book along with all the beautiful bible scriptures and prayers for my children while they were growing up. I know the importance of praying for my children. My 21 year old son said once to me "Mom thanks for always praying for me! You have no idea how much trouble I could have gotten into, but your prayers kept me safe". I still wrestle with that evil one for my adult children and I am still praying that my children will rise up and be all that God has called them to be. With that being said, I am using this book once again for Kylie and Blaine for the rest of my life (coming from a mothers love). I wish I had a magic wand to take away everyone's pain and suffering but I don't. I have nothing to give but my prayers and love.

These children have touched my heart tremendously and I know how much Linda wanted to be there for them. Linda is now living in the realm of the All Mighty! She is in the midst of his Power and Glory! She is seeing beautiful things she has never seen before. She is hearing beautiful music and nothing in this world compares to it. She is engulfed in the fathers love. She is busy with her loved ones that have gone on before her. She is sitting with Jesus and is captivated by his love. She is his beautiful bride and he adores her. And Jesus also knows of her loved ones she left behind and has promised to take care of them, to never leave them nor forsake them. If Linda could come back to us, she would be telling us all about Heaven and the Fathers Love. She would be telling us many secrets and mysteries of his kingdom. She would be telling us to seek his word and his kingdom. She would be telling us all about Jesus and to never ever lose faith in him.

As you can see, I think about her and her new life. And I think of the ones she left behind. Please know Asam and Nelson family that you are all in my prayers. I pray that Dave will live a long healthy, happy, prosperous life with his grandchildren and that his grandchildren will be a heavenly blessing to him.

    Love you all......
